This original watercolor painting is part of my 365 Daily Painting Project, a year-long creative journey where I paint one piece every single day. The project allows me to explore color, movement, and intuition while documenting moments of observation and inspiration through watercolor.
Each painting becomes a small visual diary — a reflection of nature, travel, light, and emotion captured through spontaneous brushwork and flowing pigments.
Day 59/365 features a luminous yellow lily emerging from a soft, atmospheric background of cool blues and greens. The petals unfold with warm golden tones, while delicate lines of the stamens bring structure and elegance to the composition. The contrast between the bright flower and the calm watercolor washes behind it creates a sense of depth and gentle movement.
This piece celebrates the quiet beauty of botanical forms and the expressive possibilities of watercolor, where pigment and water interact naturally to create organic textures and subtle transitions of color.
This is a one-of-a-kind original watercolor painting, not a print.
