This original watercolor painting is part of my 365 Daily Painting Project, a year-long artistic practice where I create one painting every single day. The project is both a creative exploration and a visual diary, allowing me to reconnect with intuition, experiment with color, and rediscover the direction of my painting after a long period of working in other styles.
Each piece in this series is spontaneous and unique — a moment of observation, emotion, or atmosphere translated into watercolor.
Day 57/365 captures the fragile beauty of a blooming purple flower. Soft layers of violet, green, and golden pigments flow across the paper, creating an organic composition where the flower seems to emerge from light and movement. The loose watercolor washes and textured splashes give the piece a sense of natural growth and spontaneity, echoing the unpredictable beauty of nature itself.
The painting balances delicate botanical inspiration with expressive abstraction, making it a vibrant yet calming artwork for modern interiors.
This is a one-of-a-kind original watercolor, not a print.
