This original watercolor painting is part of my 365 Daily Painting Project, a year-long artistic exploration where I create one painting every day. The project serves as both a creative discipline and a personal visual journal, allowing me to experiment with color, composition, and intuition while rediscovering the essence of my painting practice.
Each artwork captures a fleeting moment of inspiration — often drawn from nature, travel, or simple observations — expressed through fluid watercolor techniques and spontaneous brushwork.
Day 60/365 presents an expressive interpretation of a golden flower emerging from soft layers of green and warm yellow washes. The petals unfold in luminous tones of ochre, amber, and sunlight yellow, while delicate darker lines suggest stamens and organic movement. The watercolor pigments flow naturally across the paper, creating soft textures and subtle gradients that give the painting depth and vitality.
The composition balances botanical inspiration with abstraction, allowing the viewer to experience the flower not only as a natural form but also as an energetic burst of color and light. The warm palette brings a sense of calm, warmth, and natural harmony to a space.
This artwork is a one-of-a-kind original painting, not a print.
