Blue Wildflowers on Orange – Day 81/365 | Original Oil Pastel Painting on A4 Paper

This original A4 oil pastel painting (21 × 29.7 cm) is part of my 365-day daily painting project, created in Lisbon, Portugal. The composition captures a cluster of wild blue flowers emerging from an intense, almost glowing orange background. The contrast is immediate and striking — cool blues and greens pushed forward by a saturated, warm field of color, creating tension, movement, and depth.

The piece balances between observation and expression. The flowers remain recognizable, but they are built through bold, layered strokes rather than precise detail.
